The dedicated K9 Anti-Poaching Units supported by Kaufmann and trained by South Africa Tactical Canine, stand out as a pivotal force when it comes to combatting poaching. Breeds like the Bloodhound, Dutch Shepherd & Belgian Malinois are trained to excellence. The synergy of a skillfully trained dog and its handler creates a formidable line of defense against poaching.
With their heightened senses, these dogs accomplish feats beyond human capability. They also serve as early warning systems. They safeguard rangers and handlers against poachers who keep on upgrading to more lethal weaponry to commit their crimes.
Partnering with South Africa Tactical Canine and other experts, Kaufmann has embarked on establishing a long-term program rather than a sponsorship. The program is geared at working together, addressing real needs and achieving a common goal.
The Kaufmann K9 program is aimed at providing funding, training, gear and support services to these “Guardians of our Natural Heritage”. Kaufmann is donating a fixed percentage of every Kaufmann product purchased to this program in support of these dedicated units.
